Description

Automotive firmware has to be deterministic, well documented and verifiable long before the final hardware is available. Functional safety and cybersecurity are part of the requirements, not something added at the end.

At Infineon I worked on the firmware for a new generation of automotive radar modules. I designed and implemented SPI firmware commands in Enterprise Architect, defined and ran test cases in a virtual prototype simulation environment, and prepared RAM patch binaries for secure firmware bootloading on ARC EM4 and TI MSP430 targets.

At Symeo I evaluated cppcheck with MISRA and cybersecurity add-ons against an existing codebase, generated MMIC register access code from CSV descriptions with Python, and wrote Python drivers that automate lab measurement equipment.

I work with the usual automotive toolchain: JAMA for requirements, Polyspace and cppcheck for static analysis, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket for collaboration, and CMake or GNU Make for builds.
