EFT POS payment applications in C/C++ for Verifone, Ingenico and Atos terminals, from card read to host authorization.
Contact UsBuilding a payment application for an EFT POS terminal means getting many details exactly right at once: the card interface, the cardholder verification, the terminal risk management and the message flow to the authorization host. A mistake in any of them shows up as declined transactions, failed certifications or field returns.
Since the early 2000s I have developed payment applications in C and C++ for embedded terminals from Verifone, Ingenico and Atos. That work covers EMV contact chip, PayPass and payWave contactless kernels, ISO 7816 smartcard communication, PIN entry and receipt printing.
On the host side I have implemented and maintained ISO 8583, SPDH and proprietary authorization protocols, including message mapping, reversals, batch settlement and offline transaction handling.
Typical engagements are new terminal applications, porting an existing application to a new terminal family, adding contactless support, or helping a team through EMV and scheme certification.
